Face \u00e0 la course effr\u00e9n\u00e9e \u00e0 la rentabilit\u00e9, \u00e0 la croissance, et au culte du \u00ab\u00a0toujours plus vite \u00bb, la philosophie du slow invite \u00e0 explorer de nouvelles pistes, y compris dans le monde du management. Oublions un moment le mod\u00e8le actuel qui brise les salari\u00e9s et \u00e9puise les ressources naturelles, pour nous tourner vers cette philosophie alternative. Alors, c\u2019est quoi concr\u00e8tement le slow management ?<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Le Slow Management : une r\u00e9action aux pratiques actuelles<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Pas de Slow Management sans Fast Management<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>L\u2019apparition du \u00ab\u00a0Slow Management\u00a0\u00bb est cons\u00e9cutif \u00e0 la syst\u00e9matisation du management actuel d\u2019entreprise, aussi appel\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Fast Management\u00a0\u00bb, qui poursuit le \u00ab\u00a0toujours plus\u00a0\u00bb et le \u00ab\u00a0toujours plus vite\u00a0\u00bb, favorise l\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Individualisme\">individualisme<\/a>\u00a0et ne se pr\u00e9occupe pas de son\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Environnement\">environnement<\/a>. Parti du Taylorisme et de son Organisation Scientifique du Travail (OST) d\u00e8s la fin du 19<sup>\u00e8me<\/sup> si\u00e8cle, le Fast\u00a0Management n\u2019a fait que cro\u00eetre au fil des d\u00e9cennies, sous l\u2019impulsion de la mondialisation des \u00e9changes, de la globalisation des march\u00e9s, l\u2019incertitude et les diverses ruptures \u00e9conomiques.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>D\u00e9rives soci\u00e9tales du Fast Management<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Le Fast est le r\u00e9sultat de nombreuses d\u00e9rives, parmi lesquelles le productivisme \u00e0 outrance, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de gaspillage, de surconsommation et d\u2019obsolescence programm\u00e9e, ou encore la transformation du travailleur en <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Taylorisme\"><u>Homo Economicus<\/u><\/a>, qu\u2019on ne motive plus que par l\u2019argent. Le philosophe moderne Michel Lepesant, dans son article sur \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.openrim.org\/Les-origines-philosophiques-du.html\"><u>Les origines philosophiques du slow management\u00a0<\/u><\/a>\u00bb indique m\u00eame que le Fast Management, avec tout ce qu\u2019il englobe, aurait indirectement conduit \u00e0 la crise des Subprimes.<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Souffrances des travailleurs<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Notez que dans la logique du Fast Management, si les\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Conditions_de_travail\">conditions de travail<\/a>\u00a0s\u2019am\u00e9liorent, c\u2019est uniquement parce que cela permet des gains suppl\u00e9mentaires\u00a0! G\u00e9n\u00e9ralement, le Fast Management cr\u00e9e du c\u00f4t\u00e9 des salari\u00e9s un manque de valorisation, d\u2019autonomie et de participation, \u00e0 l\u2019origine de multiples souffrances : cas de harc\u00e8lements au travail, de burn-out, de d\u00e9sillusions et de d\u00e9motivations (comme le bore-out, le pendant inverse du burn-out).<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 lire aussi : <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wojo.com\/blog\/fr\/la-boite-du-futur\/enjeux-rse-6-fondamentaux-management-durable-responsable\/\">RSE : les 6 fondamentaux d'un management responsable<\/a><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Le Slow Management\u00a0: r\u00eave ou r\u00e9alit\u00e9\u00a0?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Origine et d\u00e9finition<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Le Slow Management est finalement un \u00e9loge du retour \u00e0 la lenteur, pr\u00f4n\u00e9 par Carl Honor\u00e9 dans \u00ab\u00a0\u00c9loge de la Lenteur\u00a0\u00bb en 2004. Le terme exact, lui, fait son apparition pour la premi\u00e8re fois dans \u00ab\u00a0A Bias for Action\u00a0\u00bb, d\u2019Heike Bruch et Sumantra Ghoshal, en 2005.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019apr\u00e8s Lo\u00efck Roche, directeur adjoint de Grenoble Ecole de Management, le slow management consiste \u00e0 \u00ab\u00a0<em>aimer les hommes et les femmes dans l\u2019entreprise, \u00eatre capable de passer du temps avec eux, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire aller leur raconter les choses, montrer que l\u2019entreprise est dirig\u00e9e, essayer de dessiner avec un eux un futur qui soit v\u00e9ritablement d\u00e9sirable\u00a0<\/em>\u00bb.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Le sens derri\u00e8re l\u2019oxymore<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Tout comme le terme \u00ab\u00a0d\u00e9veloppement durable\u00a0\u00bb, celui de Slow Management est un oxymore\u00a0: les deux parties qui le composent sont en th\u00e9orie antinomiques. Entre r\u00eave et aspiration sinc\u00e8re, ce choc s\u00e9mantique a surtout vocation \u00e0 attirer l\u2019attention\u00a0: ce qui se passe actuellement en termes de management ne nous plait pas, et certaines pratiques doivent \u00eatre remises en question.<\/p>\n<p>Si la d\u00e9finition de Lo\u00efck Roche peut sembler na\u00efve, il faut comprendre que le Slow Management est une notion hautement aspirationnelle, visant \u00e0 regrouper des mouvements ayant pris du poids au cours des derni\u00e8res d\u00e9cennies\u00a0: d\u00e9veloppement durable, engagements \u00e9thiques, environnementaux et de sant\u00e9, responsabilit\u00e9 sociale des entreprises.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-685\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.wojo.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Fotolia_59880968_Subscription_Monthly_M.jpg\" alt=\"New development business concept\" width=\"1674\" height=\"1135\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Selon Laurance N'Kaoua, qui dans son ouvrage \u00ab\u00a0Stress au travail\u00a0: craintes et rem\u00e8des\u00a0\u00bb de 2012, mentionne le Slow management parmi les diff\u00e9rents cataplasmes, indique que celui-ci \u00ab\u00a0<em>se fonde sur la revalorisation des individus au sein de l\u2019<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Entreprise\"><em>entreprise<\/em><\/a><em>, la possibilit\u00e9 de chacun \u00e0 s\u2019exprimer et de coop\u00e9rer au sein de la\u00a0<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Communaut%C3%A9\"><em>communaut\u00e9<\/em><\/a><em>, pour ainsi cr\u00e9er du\u00a0<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bien-%C3%AAtre\"><em>bien-\u00eatre\u00a0\u00bb.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p>En fait, le Slow Management privil\u00e9gie le qualitatif au quantitatif, les activit\u00e9s \u00e0 petite \u00e9chelle, le respect de l\u2019humain et de la nature, les rapports de confiance et la durabilit\u00e9. Comment mettre en place une telle philosophie dans votre management\u00a0d\u2019entreprise\u00a0?<\/p>\n<p>Vous l\u2019avez compris, am\u00e9liorer les conditions de travail, renforcer la <u>coh\u00e9sion d\u2019\u00e9quipe en entreprise<\/u> (lien vers l\u2019article correspondant), \u00e9liminer les facteurs de stress, et construire des relations de qualit\u00e9 avec vos salari\u00e9s, tout cela passe par un changement de vos techniques de management.
